The Ethics and Integrity Commission (EIC), established on 13th October 2025, promotes the highest standards in public life and reports to the Prime Minister on matters concerning ethical standards.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a new organisation at the heart of the standards landscape. The successful applicant may also be asked to work on areas beyond the responsibilities described below according to the team’s needs and the Commission’s priorities.
Purpose
The Corporate Support Team (CST) ensures the EIC’s operational excellence by overseeing its core governance and administrative frameworks. From long-term strategic planning to day-to-day resilience, the team maintains the essential systems, processes, and contracts that keep the Commission functional. Additionally, the CST provides dedicated support for the Chair and Commission members, managing high-level scheduling, meeting logistics, and Commission papers.
The Executive Support Manager role sits within the CST and is responsible for delivering high calibre executive support to the Chair, Commission Members and the Chief Executive. The post holder will also support delivery of the full Commission governance cycle, from forward scheduling and paper coordination to meeting delivery and action tracking. It is a pivotal role at the centre of EIC, combining executive judgement, governance discipline and relationship management in a fast-paced environment.

Selection process
Candidates who are successful at the initial sift will be invited to an in-person interview, where they will be asked to complete a short test to assess their diary and inbox management skills before being interviewed by a panel. The test will be assessed against your technical skills. The panel interview will include strength-based questions followed by questions testing the Civil Service behaviours.
