Use all your skills in a fast-paced, commercial environment
When you join us in this important hands-on role you’ll use all your commercial skills of working in a delivery supplier environment as you focus on sales, forecasting, reporting, commercial analytics, governance and risk management. Actively managing information you receive from Relationship and Bid Managers and other senior colleagues, you’ll leverage action to record data that enables accurate reporting. We’ll also expect you to deliver high quality forecasts and annual revenue budgets, and be dedicated to continuous improvement as you implement efficient and effective commercial controls and processes.
Focused on identifying ‘stories’ relating to perceived commercial risk and trends, generating relevant insights and analysis and compelling reports, this is a position where you’ll use all your skills in data management, systems and tools, as well as your expert knowledge of PowerBI, Excel and PowerPoint. Always ready to engage with a diverse range of audiences, you’ll also have a deep understanding of the customer and commercial lifecycle, and be committed to meeting and exceeding our customer’s expectations. With this in mind, we’ll expect you to produce detailed documentation, communicating complex information simply, succinctly and in ways that engage and influence our stakeholders.

Highly driven, organised, detail oriented, and ready to meet tight deadlines, you should also be highly adaptable and flexible, and capable of responding quickly to changing or conflicting priorities.
When it comes to qualifications, a Degree or Level 6 qualification in Business Management, Finance, Data Analytics or a relevant subject would be desirable, as would hands-on exposure to private sector best practices, efficiency drives, lean working and continuous improvement. A practical understanding of Salesforce’s CRM Analytics and Tableau Cloud would be a plus, and you’ll be at an advantage if you have some experience of product, project and service delivery across a variety of industrial sectors, ideally including construction, estates, logistics and professional services.
